P ilgrimage In the summer of 2016, we learned in Dharamshala that a group of Thai Buddhist monks were undergoing an on-foot pilgrimage from Dharamshala, Himachal to Leh, Ladakh. By coincidence, two weeks later, we spotted the monks along the highroads of Leh-Manali, which laid itself along the shoulders and creeks the Himalayas. Seeing their pilgrimage reminds us of the power of beliefs, faiths, courage, and respect to nature. Together in cities and towns we could easily fool ourselves that we have all the capabilities to overcome nature, but under the immense landscape of the Himalayas, we could only begin to realize that we are just minuscule pixels in the world.

Evening Stroll While this image looks very slow and peaceful, in reality I took the photo while I was on a small motorboat going up the stream in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. I was lucky enough to have my camera at hands when the bird happened to be strolling there on the river bank for a very brief few seconds preying for its dinner.

Exhibition

Photos for Nepal | May 2015 | at the Bangkok Arts and Cultural Center (BACC)

On April 25, 2015 parts of Nepal was wrecked by inevitable earthquake. The tragic startled us and urged us look back at the images we took from when the earth was still, the people smiled, and the old architecture stood tall.

With 4 other friends, we formed Photos for Nepal on Sunday, April 26 late at night with our first intention to sell photo prints and donate the profit made to help aid the earthquake victims. We set up a photography exhibition within 36 hours exhibiting a selection of 20 images. Through our photographs, we wish that you will find life and hope for Nepal.
